Sadly I learned just after we arrived that a former student's mother passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer. My student is seven years old. Her older siblings range from 12-20 something. So this was my first Florida card.

Kitten Goes to Florida
So I know this blog is my space to share what is going on in my creative life. And this photo is not a card. However, Peaches played an awful big part in my creative life these last few weeks. Ken and I drove down to Florida with Kitten--and craft supplies. I was able to spend a gob of time actually trying out some of my ideas. I completed at least eleven-teen new cards and worked in my art journal! Kitten chased after eraser scraps while I carved. She kept a watch on critters while I painted. She carefully inspected each card as I sliced, folded, stamped, adhered. Good kitten! I'm so glad she traveled with us this time. The next posts will include projects I completed while away. Excitement!
